2023/24 SSPFC HOME SHIRT (FANS EDITION)

Sham Shui Po District was once renowned as the heart of Hong Kong's textile industry. Although the industry declined in the 1990s, it still retains many elements related to garment manufacturing and art. Even today, it continues to attract many local designers and the younger generation to settle in the Sham Shui Po district to pursue their dreams.

The new season's home jersey of Sham Shui Po features the main colors of green and vibrant orange. The subtle pattern is composed of fabric rolls, reminiscent of the rolls of fabric that used to fill the streets and alleys of Sham Shui Po. Recently, the fabric concentration areas such as the Pang Jai Fabric Market and Yen Chow Street have been dismantled and relocated. It is hoped that this jersey can evoke our memories.

The theme of the home jersey is nostalgic, so in addition to the fabric design, the designer incorporates iconic signs and neon lights that once stood in Sham Shui Po. Continuing the tradition from the previous year, the left sleeve of the jersey is imprinted with the three characters "深水浦." "深水浦" is the old name in chinese, adding a stronger local element and historical significance to the jersey.
